The Rosin Heels Camp had members participate in the John Ford Home Living History Event held on Saturday December 14, 2013 near Sandy Hook, MS. It was hosted by the 5th Brigade of the Mississippi Division of the SCV.
The Rosin Heels Camp #227 holds 3 skirmishes at Landrum's Homestead during their Christmas Open House Weekend on Nov. 30, 2013. The Camp also has a living history, flag display & serves up the infamous "possum" stew.
Camp Members Don Green & Joe Cosper participated in the Camp Moore Reenactment located in Tangipahoa, LA. on Nov. 22-24, 2013. It was a very large training facility & enlistment center during the WBTS.
Camp #227 helps the Tallahala Chapter of the DAR with the Deason House Tour each year. They set up an encampment beside the house each year. This year, on Oct. 26, 2013, an orb was spotted on each side of the door in two photos taken 15 seconds apart. The House is said to be haunted with lots of paranormal activity.
Camp Members Don Green, Joe Cosper & Dennis Avera attended Don's family cemetery rededication on Oct. 26, 2013 in Burnt Corn, AL. It was a special day for the Green Family who came from all over the country.
Camp #227 Members participated in Fall Muster at Beauvoir on Oct. 18-20, 2013 in Biloxi, MS. They attended the charter ceremony of the Pascagoula Camp in the photo on the left. In the center photo, the Yankees capture the fort. In the photo on the right, the Confederates prepare to attack.

McLemore was known as "Old Rosin Heels" and formed, from men mustered from Jones County, the "Jones County Rosin Heels" that became Company
