The Rosin Heels Camp Members marched while their lovely ladies rode on a trailer in the Sertoma of Laurel Christmas Parade on Saturday December 6, 2014. This is an annual parade that winds through downtown Laurel, MS.
Members of the Rosin Heels Camp participated in the 28th Annual Fall Muster Reenactment at Beauvoir October 17-19, 2014. Camp Member Don Green was married there on the porch to his beautiful bride Jenny Waller Rice.
The Jones County Rosin Heels conducted a fantastic memorial service for Pvt. Thomas J. Lee, 7th MS Infantry, at the invitation of the Lee/Woodward family. Sgt. Joe Cosper of the Rosin Heels arranged the event, with Capt. Doug Jefcoat commanding the squad during the actual memorial. It took place at Nobles Cemetery in Pine, LA on Sept. 28, 2014.
Members of Camp #227 participated in the Battle of Mobile Bay Reenactments held August 1-3, 2014. Camp member Don Green & his wife Jenny attended Fort Morgan on August 1 to hear Bobby Horton perform & August 2nd for the Fort Morgan Surrender. He & Jenny attended the Fort Gaines Surrender on August 3 where Don disembarked from a schooner to attack the Fort.
Camp #227 had members participate at the Deason Home sign dedication on Saturday May 3, 2014 in Ellisville.
Camp Members participated at 3 Memorials on Confederate Memorial Day on Monday April 28, 2014. The first was held in Meridian around 12pm, the second was held at Ellisville around 4pm & the last was held at Laurel about 5pm.
Camp members participated in the Confederate Memorial Day Celebration at Beauvoir on Saturday April 26, 2014.
Camp #227 Members participated in the 150th Battles of The Texas Hospital at Quitman, MS. held at Archusa Creek Water Park on February 21-23, 2014.
Mississippi Division Commander Allen Terrell was the speaker at the Camp's Lee Jackson Banquet held on January 25, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Laurel, MS. A great time was had by all who attended the annual ceremony.
